Privacy Policy

Effective June 2, 2026 · Last updated June 2, 2026

Zero-cloud by design. Your personal data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. This policy explains exactly how your information is handled.

1. Overview

PrivacyStrike ("we," "our," or "the App") is a privacy protection application developed by Moore Development LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how PrivacyStrike handles information when you use our applications, available on the web and as mobile applications for Android and iOS.

PrivacyStrike is built on a local-first, zero-cloud architecture. This means your personal data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and giving you full control over your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you set up your PrivacyStrike profile, you may choose to enter the following personal information:

This information is stored exclusively in encrypted local storage on your device using AES-256 encryption. It is never transmitted to PrivacyStrike servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

The App does not collect device identifiers, usage analytics, crash reports, advertising IDs, or any other data automatically. No telemetry or tracking of any kind is performed.

2.3 Payment Information

If you subscribe to PrivacyStrike Shield or Pro plans, payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, bank account, or other financial details. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information and is available at stripe.com/privacy.

We may receive and store the following non-sensitive subscription metadata from Stripe: subscription plan type, subscription status (active/cancelled), and Stripe customer ID. This metadata is stored locally on your device only.

2.4 Breach Monitoring Data

If you use the Breach Monitor feature (available on Shield and Shield Pro plans), the email address you choose to scan is sent to the HaveIBeenPwned breach index to check for exposure. To protect our shared API access, this single request is relayed through a secure PrivacyStrike relay that forwards your query and returns the result. The relay does not store your email address or scan results. HaveIBeenPwned's privacy policy governs the breach data itself.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your personal information, stored locally on your device, is used solely for the following purposes within the App:

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing profiling, sale to third parties, or any purpose other than providing the core App functionality described above.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

4.1 Data Brokers

A core function of PrivacyStrike is to help you submit opt-out requests to data broker websites. When you use this feature, your personal information (name, address, email, etc.) is submitted directly from your device to the respective data broker's opt-out portal. This sharing is intentional and at your direction; it is the mechanism by which your data is removed from broker databases.

4.2 Stripe

Payment processing for premium subscriptions is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your financial information is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy (stripe.com/privacy). PrivacyStrike only receives non-sensitive subscription status information.

4.3 HaveIBeenPwned

If you use the Breach Monitor feature, the email address you scan is forwarded through our secure relay to the HaveIBeenPwned service to check for breach exposure. The relay stores neither your email nor the results.

4.4 No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party for commercial purposes. We have no access to the data stored on your device.

4.5 Legal Requirements

Because PrivacyStrike does not collect or store user data on our servers, we have no user data to disclose in response to legal requests. In the event we are ever required by law to provide information, we will notify affected users to the extent permitted by law.

5. Data Storage and Security

All personal information entered into PrivacyStrike is stored locally on your device using the browser's localStorage mechanism with AES-256 encryption. Data is not backed up to the cloud, transmitted to external servers (except as described in Sections 2.3, 2.4, and 4.1 above for specific opt-out and breach-check functions), or accessible to Moore Development LLC or PrivacyStrike.

Security of your data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a screen lock, keeping your device software up to date, and using strong device credentials to protect locally stored information.

If you uninstall the App or clear your browser/app data, all locally stored PrivacyStrike data will be permanently deleted.

6. Children's Privacy

PrivacyStrike is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email address below so we can take appropriate action.

7. Your Rights and Controls

Because all of your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times:

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, additional rights may apply under GDPR, UK GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Because we do not collect or store your personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly through the App itself. For any residual inquiries, contact us at the address below.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Because PrivacyStrike stores data locally on your device and does not sell personal information, many standard CCPA/CPRA obligations do not apply. However, we are committed to transparency:

9. Florida Privacy Rights (FL SB-262)

PrivacyStrike is designed to help Florida residents exercise their rights under Florida's Digital Bill of Rights (Senate Bill 262). As a controller:

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, by providing an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
